As part of project “İlçemin, Şehrim İstanbul’un Kültürel Mirasını Öğreniyorum ve Arkadaşlarımla Paylaşıyorum”, 6 stories which mainly focus at heritage within Beşiktaş and Historical Peninsula regions are fictionalised. Original songs with the timbres belonging to the eras of the fictions are composed by Cihat Aşkın. These songs are aimed to accompany the stories while the workshops, book reading sections and field trips. It is also planned to turn these songs into audio books by adding the vocalisation of the stories, which is thought to contribute to the internalisation of the heritage. It is also planned to provide visually handicapped with the stories with the support of GETEM.
